Product Specifications
The AFL® System is an easy to use and non-invasive diagnostic method for measuring lactate levels in amniotic fluid. The system comprises a measuring unit and disposable sensor probes. The probes are individually packaged for ease of use. The measuring unit is controlled by choosing functions and entering data via the touchscreen.
To use the AFL® System, insert a measuring probe into the measuring unit and apply amniotic fluid onto the sensor. The result (AFL® value) is visible on the screen after approximately 20 seconds. The entry of patient data, which is optional, is done via the keyboard on the touchscreen.
